Dimensions of containers

A transport container is a serious acquisition, and it is worth to approach it responsibly. After all, the equipment should provide maximum economy, safety and comfort of transportation. The modern tare market offers many different modifications. So how not to make a mistake with the choice?
Criteria for the right choice

Before you make a purchase, study the following characteristics:

  • Capacity
  • Dimensions
  • Fastening system
  • Door type and size

What you should pay attention to?

  • Dimensions . The most popular is a 40-foot container, the dimensions of which allow you to quickly transport large quantities of goods, mount inside any equipment and organize a spacious warehouse. Loading a 40-foot container is made through convenient wide doors, and you can easily transport even very large cargo.
If you plan to transport loads of smaller volumes, you should choose a 20-foot container – the dimensions of this type of packaging are suitable even for small vehicles, and therefore optimize the timing and cost of transportation. It can also be used as a warehouse or a cabin.
  • Fasteners . The system of external fasteners of both types of containers is universal, complies with ISO standards and is suitable both for sea vessels, and for trains and vehicles. And when transporting fragile things, it is better to choose equipment with additional attachments inside the container.
